Enhancement Program
Trains local Agricultural and Fishery
Councils, farmers and fisherfolk in agri-business and project
management. The AFCs are also taught project monitoring and
evaluation. Program also offers technology exchange tours
to research centers and model farms.
Support
to Young Filipino Farmers Project
This in-house project selects and
prepares young Filipino farmers for their agricultural, hands-on
training in Japan. This is done through an orientation course
where the trainees learn Japanese language and culture, and
different farming technologies. The project also provides
start-up funds for the trainees when they return.
Interactive
Network for Ordered Response to the Makamasa Program's Information
Needs (INFORM)
This in-house project exclusive
for the AFCs provides for regional dissemination of information
regarding DA's banner program using the social mobilization
approach. The AFCs prepare their own regional communication
plans.
